Deleting Objects

Objects can be deleted in three ways:

• Single object deletion
• Multiple selection and deletion of selected objects
• Deletion of all objects of a specified type

Single Object Deletion

Single object deletion allows you to delete one specific object.

To delete an existing object, follow these steps:

1. Select the Objects item in the navigation menu under the User Behavior Analytics section
2. Select the required object type from the Type Select dropdown at the top of the table
3. In the object list table, find the required object
4. Click the Delete button, represented by an icon , in the row of the required object

5. In the opened modal window, confirm the deletion of the object by clicking the Delete button

6. The deleted object will disappear from the object list

Performing these actions will result in the permanent deletion of the object.

Multiple Selection and Deletion of Selected Objects

Multiple selection and deletion of selected objects allows for bulk deletion of objects.

Selecting Objects

Selecting objects for subsequent deletion is done using checkboxes in the rows of the object table. To select an object, click the unselected checkbox located in the first column of the table, in the row of the required object. To deselect an object, click the selected checkbox for that object in the object table.

Clicking the unselected checkbox in the header of the object table will select all objects displayed on the current page. If this checkbox is already selected, clicking it will deselect all objects displayed on the current page of the object table.

To deselect all selected objects, click the Deselect all button. This button is located above the object list table and is displayed only when there are selected objects.

Selected objects are preserved when navigating between pages of the object table, performing a search, or applying filters (only within the currently selected object type).

Bulk Deletion of Objects

To perform bulk deletion of objects, follow these steps:

1. Select the Objects item in the navigation menu under the User Behavior Analytics section
2. Select the required object type from the Type Select dropdown at the top of the table
3. Using checkboxes, select the objects you wish to delete
4. Click the Delete <n> objects button. This button is located above the object list table and is displayed only when there are selected objects

5. In the opened modal window, confirm the deletion of the selected objects by clicking the Delete button

6. The selected objects will be deleted from the object list

Performing these actions will result in the permanent deletion of the selected objects.

Deleting All Objects of a Selected Type

To delete all objects of a specified type, follow these steps:

1. Select the Objects item in the navigation menu under the User Behavior Analytics section
2. Select the required object type from the Type Select dropdown at the top of the table
3. Click the Clear all objects of type button, represented by an icon . This button is located above the object list table next to the Settings and Filters buttons

4. In the opened modal window, confirm the deletion of all objects of the selected type by clicking the Delete button

5. All objects of the type selected in the Type Select dropdown at the top of the table will be deleted

Performing these actions will result in the permanent deletion of all objects of the type selected in the Type Select dropdown at the top of the table.
