Zabbix: Inventory

Overview

The Zabbix module includes a mechanism for automatic inventory of hosts, interfaces, and disks. The inventory is formed based on data received from Zabbix agents and provides a centralized overview of the infrastructure.

Purpose

The inventory allows you to:

  1. Obtain an up-to-date list of all Zabbix hosts: Host Inventory

  2. Track the status and characteristics of network interfaces for each host: Interfaces

  3. Monitor the usage and availability of disk resources (e.g., C: drive on Windows) Disks

For more details on the Inventory module, refer to the corresponding section Inventory.

Asset Card

Each asset in the inventory has a card with a set of metadata — both base and additional attributes. Example card for the windows-agent host:

Asset Relationships

The inventory allows viewing relationships between a host, its interfaces, and disks. The interface enables quick identification of which resources are involved and how they are interconnected.
