Installing the AI Security Module

The AI Security module is delivered as three complementary components.

Package Contents

Component	Purpose
Utility	Deploys module dependencies and the semantic search model, prepares the content pack, and configures the incident type
Data collection configurations	Collects AI agent data and permission configurations in Claude Code and Codex
Content module	Dashboards, threat detection jobs, runtime indexes, tags, and an ISM policy

Installation Steps

1. Install the utility - prepare module dependencies, the semantic search model, and the ai_security.zip archive
2. Install the content module - import the prepared archive, then configure the Security Incident incident type with apply_incident_types.py
3. Configure data collection - deploy agent data collection configurations

Installing the Utility

Deploying AI Security index templates, index patterns, and lookups by using the ai_security_ko_maker utility.

Configuring Data Collection

Deploying AI Security data collection configurations with Smart Beat Manager and Logstash to collect AI agent permissions and GPU metrics.

Installing the Content Module

Importing the AI Security content module through Content Management in Smart Monitor.
