Description
A service is a representation of a monitoring object component or a logical group of components, helps configure metrics to assess its state and track the influence of these metrics and other components on its overall state.
Purpose
A service allows you to:
- add important metrics for tracking
- add dependency on the state of other components or their metrics
- group components together
- conduct analysis of component state changes
