Overview​

Allows selecting the Service Provider mode:

  • Disabled
  • SP Client
  • SP Server

SP client mode switching

"Disabled" Mode​

Disabling makes the current Search Anywhere Framework installation operate standalone.

"SP Client" Mode​

Enables using Search Anywhere Framework as a child cluster (can only connect to an SP Server).

Important Note!

Cross-cluster search (CCS) must be configured for this operation: the current cluster must be configured as a remote cluster.

"SP Server" Mode​

Allows connecting child clusters as clients and utilizing their data.

Important Note!

Cross-cluster search (CCS) must be configured for this operation: the current cluster must be configured as a local cluster.
