Snapshot Management

Description​

The Snapshot Management section of the module is intended to provide a number of management functions for the virtual machine snapshots on the cluster.

VMware management snapshots

Management Functions​

  • create a new snapshot (with ability to also snapshot memory and disk states via related checkmarks)
  • delete a snapshot (including its child snapshots)
  • revert to a specific previous snapshot

Management Process​

  1. Enter VM name into the field of required operation
  2. Enter snapshot name into the field of required operation
  3. Set additional operation parameters (if present)
  4. Press Execute

A snapshot directory containing information about snapshots (their datacenters, clusters, host addresses and VMs they mirror) is also provided.
